The problem
A neighbourhood salon with 273 Google reviews and a 4.4 rating, and no website at all. Every one of those reviews pointed at a listing rather than a place the salon controlled.
What I did
- The hero reads the hours table in JavaScript and states whether the shop is open right now, or when it opens next.
- A lookbook of illustrated nail-art tiles stands in until the salon supplies photography.
- Reviews are quoted verbatim with attribution rather than paraphrased into marketing copy.
- Hours live in three places that must change together, and the README names all three.
Where it landed
A site that answers "are they open" before a customer picks up the phone.
