Magnolia Beauty Lounge
An independent Main Street salon. I gave it a calm, expensive feel without a single stock photo, and put the service menu, gallery, hours, and booking path in one scroll.

The problem
An independent salon on Main Street competing against chains with real marketing budgets. The brief was to look more expensive than the price list without lying about what the place is, which is small, warm, and run by people who take their time.
What I did
- A palette of sage and blush carries the calm, so no stock photography is needed to fake a mood.
- The service menu is grouped the way a guest thinks: cut, colour, treatment.
- Illustrated portraits stand in for client photos until real ones exist, rather than borrowing someone else’s.
- Hours, address, and booking sit within one scroll of the top on a phone.
Where it landed
A salon that reads as considered rather than cheap, with every practical detail a walk-in needs.
